EnviTours Donates Food Relief Packages for 35 Familes in Taro, Bali

on

Coronavirus has hit every corner of this world and each community faces unique challenges.

For our friends and family in Bali, where much of the economic production comes from the tourism sector, the virus has caused real economic strain. Basic household needs and even food have been hard to come by for many families.

For the community of Taro, where the EnviTours School of Early Education is located, lack of supplies and hardship is a stark reality. For this reason, we’ve been in contact with our partners at Bali Children's Project in search of a way to best support this community in this time of unprecedented need.

Did you know that $40 can provide food and supplies to a family in Bali for up to a month? Click here to learn more.

We didn’t know that either and we’re shocked to learn how far the dollar could go in supporting people in need. We had to do our part. Our partners at Bali Children's Project identified 35 families in the community that are in desperate need of assistance, 17 of which have children that will attend the EnviTours School of Early Education and 18 families with children that are either too old or too young to attend the school but are still in need. We took it upon ourselves to provide meal and supply packages for these 35 families.

See our photos here!

We will continue to support these families as they are part of our EnviCommunity and we are part of their community. We encourage anyone to join us. Your dollar goes a long way.

All donations go DIRECTLY to the Bali Children’s Project COVID-19 Relief Program.
